State Farm is run as a franchise. Meaning that each office sets its own hours. I’m sure you may be able to find one that’s open.

State Farm will cover you if you buy a new car even if they do not know about it as long as you tell them about it within 14 days. The amount of days may vary by state so call your State Farm agent to verify the amount of days they give you when you buy a new car.

The claims office and customer care line are open 24/7/365, BUT, you can’t buy insurance that way – you have to use a local agent.
Many local agents DO have Saturday hours – if you go to the State Farm website, they’ll search agents by zip code near you, and you can see their hours there.

Call your agent tomorrow and ask them what you need to do.
In most cases, if you own a car and it is insured – if you purchase another car, you have a window to add the new car. The length of time depends on your policy.
Therefore, go ahead and call your agent and find out what they suggest you do. Your agent is the one that is familiar with your policy.

~~To my knowledge they are not open at any office. They always have a 24 hour number you can call. If you call your agent’s office number and they are closed, a recording will give you the 24 hour number.
I have purchased cars on the weekend before, and always let them know on Monday. They’ve always told me I am always covered when driving another car. I would urge you to call your agent tomorrow and find out if it is the same for you, or what you should do when and if you end up with a new car on Saturday.~~
