you are the reason why girls under the age of 18 shouldnt have kids. My point made right here. Your mom should be embarrassed.
And she is to young to get insurance for herself

it doesn't matter what your mom makes, it matters what you make only. You are now a separate household than your parents since you are pregnant. You only have to claim yourself and your baby.

Your mom needs to get over being embarassed and think about your health and the health of your baby. It is very crucial that you see a doctor through your whole pregnany. Good luck. I would definitely check out the health dept there in Memphis.

Go to your local DHS and talk to someone. They may be able to help you and not count your mom's income since she is not willing to help. I'm not sure, but it never hurts to ask. You need to go to the doctor for your baby's sake. Your mother not taking you is wrong.

Have you attempted to go to Medicaid? I had a job and they let me get on it without knowing my parents income. You should try anyway, they may be able to be of some help to you. If not, try a Planned Parenthood or Health Dept and they will do your appointments based on income.

Head over to planned parenthood or your local social services department and claim yourself as independent. explain the situation to them. They will usually give you medicaid during your pregnancy and for 3 months post pregnancy.
And your mom should know better. You need a doctor to look after you during pregnancy. Tell her to get over her embarrassment. Because whether she likes it or not, she will be a grandma soon.

You can get MEDICAID... but it will be very hard for you, because you need to provide a letter stating that you are supported by your parents and you need to prove their income. If your mom is making that much money you won't be eligible. The only other option is to say that your parents are not supporting you in your pregnancy and meet with a counselor and figure out other options. At least, this is the way I had to do it in NY. I needed to get insurance before I told my parents I was pregnant- so my boyfriend and I had to say that he is supporting me and his income was low enough for me to get the insurance. So that's how I got it. It can be very tricky! If your mom is making enough money, she needs to support you. You need good healthcare. She doesn't have to go to the doctor with you. I think that's disgusting she wouldn't support you like that! I really wish you the best of luck :(
